DrIsOnline.com’s Online-Patient-Portal allows patients to receive patient
care online, in which Patient fills out a questionnaire describing their symptoms,
video records a message regarding their condition and sends it to the doctor in
the form of an alert, which then gets embedded
into the patients Electronic Medical
Record as an acknowledgement. The doctor reviews the video message, studies the
symptom questionnaire, and looks up the patients personal health record online before
deciding on whether or not to text the patient, video message the patient online
or schedule the patient for an office visit.
If the doctor decides to consult online and clicks on the message button, patients
EMR will automatically open and the doctor will now have before him: (a) patients
personal health record, which contains patients personal, family, social and clinical history, (b) reasons for needing an online consultation, (c) symptom questionnaire,
providing in detail the condition of the patient, (d) a personal video message discussing
their symptoms , and (e) complete electronic medical record – all in a matter of
minutes.
